What We Collect

YourChildCoach may collect your email for account access, paid access, and magic links. Signed-in users may choose to save child profiles, including school, plan, diagnosis, therapy, and evaluation information. We also track plan usage and may save generated strategies and document analyses in your account.

We use "parent" to mean the adult responsible for helping a child navigate school support, including parents, guardians, grandparents, foster/adoptive parents, relatives, and other caregivers.

Document Processing

Uploaded PDFs and pasted document text are sent to OpenAI to produce the requested analysis. Uploaded PDFs are held temporarily in private storage and deleted after analysis. YourChildCoach does not place the original PDF or pasted document text in your saved account history. Signed-in accounts may save the generated analysis and basic labels such as document type and review goal.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide app access, generate educational advocacy support, respond to human-help requests, send magic links, process payments, and maintain the service.

Payments and Email

Payments are handled by Stripe. Supabase provides authentication, private database storage, and temporary file storage. OpenAI processes information submitted to the coaching and document-analysis tools. Transactional emails may be sent through Resend. These providers process information needed to deliver their services.

Sensitive Information

School and disability-related information can be sensitive. Do not paste information you are not comfortable using in the app. Remove names or details when you do not need them for the guidance.

Your Choices

You may use a nickname instead of a full child name. Saved guidance can be deleted inside My Account. Contact us to request deletion of your account or saved profile information.

Emergency and Safety Issues

Do not use YourChildCoach as an emergency service. If there is immediate danger, abuse, self-harm risk, or a medical emergency, contact emergency services or an appropriate licensed professional.
